Melina was born and raised in Anchorage, Alaska. During a visit to Texas as a child, she knew she wanted to be a Texan as soon as possible! Melina made Texas her home in 2008 and has loved every second of it since.

Melina earned her law degree from Saint Mary’s University School of Law, in San Antonio, Texas through the evening program. Instead of earing her law degree in the traditional three years, she was able to complete it in four, while still managing to raise her children and work. Family is very important to Melina and that is why she considers each case personally and works diligently to achieve the desired outcome.

When she is not working, Melina likes to spend time with her children. Melina also enjoys running in the great out-doors, weightlifting and attending music concerts.
